This is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal role in a complex, international change programme that is reshaping how a world-renowned brand operates, delivers value, and engages customers.

The Opportunity

You'll join a fast-paced, ambitious technology and change team, working closely with product managers, business sponsors, analysts, SMEs and engineering teams. This is not a traditional oversight-only programme role — it's hands-on, delivery focused, and central to driving outcomes across a diverse portfolio of strategic initiatives.

You will take ownership of end-to-end delivery across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with global markets, operational teams, and senior stakeholders. Expect to lead cross-functional teams, shape delivery frameworks, and bring structure, clarity and momentum to a major data transformation journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the planning and delivery of assigned programmes and projects, ensuring successful execution across global markets.
  • Operate within established delivery frameworks (waterfall, agile, hybrid) while maintaining a pragmatic, hands-on approach to outcomes, risks and milestones.
  • Continuously review technology projects, ensuring compliance, quality and alignment with best practice.
  • Oversee project budgets, tracking and authorising spend, and acting as budget holder where required.
  • Identify, assess and manage programme and project risks, defining tolerances and mitigation strategies.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives and coach teams through business change.
  • Directly project manage initiatives from inception to completion when needed.
  • Mentor teams on delivery methods, tools and best practice.
  • Manage governance structures for portfolio and project work.
  • Own escalation processes, ensuring leadership visibility of emerging risks and issues.
  • Produce clear, concise reporting for programme and portfolio tracking.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record delivering complex, multi-project programmes across geographies and time zones, ideally within retail or hospitality.
  • Experience delivering ERP, finance, retail or large scale data transformation programmes.
  • Strong background managing RFP processes, supplier validation and commercial proposal reviews.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead cross-functional project teams with clear roles, alignment and collaboration.
  • Experience overseeing change management, including training, documentation and communication strategies.
  • Ability to develop and evaluate business cases with a focus on value and ROI.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with confidence presenting to senior stakeholders and facilitating workshops.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., MSP, DSDM, SAFe, PRINCE2).
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Jira and Confluence.
