About The Role
As the Supervisor / Team Leader for the Finance & Administration department you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing and driving the financial and administrative operations of the UK & Ireland business, ensuring operational performance across finance, administration, warehousing and service.
- Mentoring and guiding a small team (under 5 staff), driving a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Acting as the interface between the local operations and the European HQ, ensuring alignment with global standards whilst adapting to local country needs.
- Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with UK and IRE GAAP.
- Managing budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Financial reporting, allowing the business to monitor cash flow, working capital and financial KPIs to ensure financial health and transparency across the group.
- Overseeing the local administration function which is responsible for HR and contract administration.
- Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and corporate policies.
About You
The successful candidate will possess at least 4 years' experience in a finance leadership / Accounting management role and have experience working to UK GAAP standards. Exposure to IRE GAAP would be highly beneficial as would experience in a global manufacturing, industrial or engineering business. You must speak fluent English and have the rights to work in the UK. Please note: Sponsorship is not available for this role. A related education in Finance, Accounting or Business is essential, with a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) qualification being preferred.

- Fantastic communication and leadership skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven experience with financial reporting, controlling and ERP systems (Oracle, SAP etc.)
- Able to travel internationally 1-2 times per year
