About The Role
Operating from a home office you will travel across Kent, East Sussex, Surrey and South London region and be responsible for:
- Supporting the external sales team by conducting presales duties such as site surveys and assisting in the preparation of specifications.
- Creating accurate progress and site survey reports including site photos.
- Utilising specialist site survey equipment to determine if and where flat roofing systems have failed, allowing the sales team to advise on remedial action.
- Forwarding all leads to the sales team.
- Attending project progress meetings with clients when needed.
- Completing site inspections and measurements.
- Completing core samples and moisture mapping, reporting on your findings.
- Assisting with project completion issues.
About You
A UK driving license is essential along with a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience within the Flat Roofing sector within either an office, field or site-based role. This could include a flat roofer who is wishing to move away from the tools. Past Technical Support or Site / Roof Surveying experience would be beneficial, as would an education within a Construction discipline or an industry led qualification. Other key skills include:
- Clear professional communication
- Excellent time management
- A motivated and driven approach
- IT literate (Word, Email etc.)
- Well organised with a great attention to detail
