MSR Solicitors , a young and ambitious SRA-regulated law firm, is looking to hire an experienced Commercial Property Paralegal to join their thriving Immigration team in London. The commercial property paralegal is expected to manage a caseload of straightforward commercial conveyancing matters independently, taking responsibility for progressing transactions, meeting deadlines, and maintaining regular client communication with minimal supervision. Participate in outreach efforts to solicit new clients for the firm. Submit and review commercial property searches with local authorities and other relevant bodies. Assist with the preparation and submission of SDLT returns, ensuring compliance with deadlines. Prepare completion statements and client invoices, ensuring financial accuracy. Complete and maintain client account records, ensuring alignment with client ledgers and regulatory requirements. Respond to requisitions from HM Land Registry, local authorities, lenders, and other third parties in a timely and accurate manner. Open, maintain, and close client files in accordance with firm procedures and compliance requirements. Manage routine telephone calls, correspondence, and client enquiries, maintaining a high standard of client service. Deliver excellent service to clients, agents, and work providers, ensuring that all parties are kept informed throughout the conveyancing process. Liaises with mortgage lenders, estate agents, and other third parties involved in property transactions. Assist in due diligence and risk assessment by identifying potential legal or financial issues related to property transactions. Proactively encourage new opportunities for the firm, assisting in the growth of the client base and helping to generate new business. Take proactive steps to resolve issues and complaints, working with senior colleagues as necessary to ensure satisfactory outcomes. Proven experience in commercial conveyancing, including familiarity with main aspects of the commercial conveyancing process. Professionalism, good quality of service and a “can do” attitude. Willingness and ability to immigration law and the requirements for various types of applications.
