Masala Zone, a little bit about us: Our food is uniquely from the true sources of Indian food – the gourmet homes & street stalls across India’s regions. This exciting Grand Brasserie is located in the 1873 historic Criterion Restaurant building - opposite the iconic Eros Fountain, the heart of London. We unusually combine a panoramic range of proper Indian food - pioneering street food, thalis (the balanced family platters), flavourful grills, regional curries, biryanis - as well as brunch & afternoon tea.
We are looking for a hard working Kitchen Porter to work on a pro rata basis, daytimes, evenings and weekends. Full-time only, minimum 35 hours per week. We provide full on the job training for the right candidate, although knowledge of kitchen hygiene, food safety and cleanliness standards is an advantage.
The duties include:
- Operating the dishwashing machine
- Sorting deliveries and stock rotation, which include heavy items
- Maintaining general kitchen cleanliness and deep cleaning
