PERMANENT WAREHOUSE MANAGER – BORDERS OF MK/NORTHAMPTON – 32-35K * Mon – Friday role * Xmas shutdown * Free onsite parking I am looking to recruit a warehouse manager for a small business who is expanding so this is a newly created role where you can put your stamp on. Daily duties are likely to involve:- * Responsible for organising the efficient and safe storage and dispatch of warehoused stock * Using real-time data collection to increase accuracy and lower labour costs * Maintaining computerised administration, stock inventory and retrieval systems * Inspecting and approving the quality and quantity of goods or equipment received and shipped out * Enforcing health & safety and security procedures * Managing staff, building teams, training employees and monitoring production performance * Communicating and interacting with vendors, suppliers and other departments * Overseeing logistics of receiving, warehousing and dispatch operations * Meeting regularly with warehouse leads to assess, analyse and develop actionable plans for loss prevention and productivity. * Performing general maintenance of the machinery used in the warehouse In return, what we need from you:- * Similar experience to the above * Flexible attitude as this will be a hands on role as well * Due of the location, you should drive and have your own transport So, if you are interested and want an immediate opportunity, please apply immediately with your cv Thank you for your interest in this position.
