PERMANENT TRAINEE MACHINE OPERATOR – MILTON KEYNES – £27,848 I am recruiting on behalf of an established manufacturing organisation based on the borders of Milton Keynes, who are seeking Trainee Machine Operators to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity if you are: * A recent graduate in engineering looking to begin your career in manufacturing * Keen to step away from a warehouse environment into a more skilled role * Naturally curious, hands-on, and eager to learn What will you be doing? * Training period (first 3 months): learning to run production machinery, assisting with packing, and product labelling * After training: operating machinery to produce high-quality products in the production area * Taking responsibility for your workstation and ensuring Health & Safety standards are followed What we are looking for: * Are you fed up of the warehouse environment (or similar) and want to learn something new within the manufacturing industry? * An inquisitive mindset with the willingness to learn * Enthusiasm, reliability, and a team-focused approach * Own transport (due to shift patterns – see below) * Commitment to the required shifts, which is working a 4 on/4 off shifts. These will consist of x2 days (6am – 6pm) followed by x2 nights (6pm – 6am) followed by x4 off This role offers a clear training path, a competitive starting salary, and the chance to develop within a supportive, long-established manufacturing environment. Within a 3 – 5 year period you have the opportunity to become a senior machine operator would would take you up to a current salary of £36,600.
