We are looking for a confident, engaging and guest-focused Host / Hostess to join the team at 108 Brasserie at The Marylebone.
As the first and last point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in creating memorable experiences from the moment they arrive. With your warm welcome, attention to detail and passion for hospitality, you will ensure every guest feels valued and at home.
Responsibilities
- Welcoming guests with genuine warmth and professionalism.
- Managing reservations, walk-ins and table allocations efficiently.
- Creating a positive first impression and ensuring a seamless guest journey.
- Building strong relationships with regular and returning guests.
- Managing waiting lists and communicating accurately with guests and the restaurant team.
- Supporting the restaurant team during busy service periods.
- Handling guest enquiries and resolving any concerns with confidence and professionalism.
- Maintaining excellent knowledge of the restaurant, menus and hotel facilities.
Skills
- Previous hosting, restaurant or hospitality experience is desirable.
- A warm, friendly and confident personality.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a professional appearance.
- The ability to remain calm and organised in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and a genuine desire to make people feel welcome.
