REGULAR weekend dog walker needed in Archway for an adorable and stubborn Jack Russell.

Walks take place every Saturday and Sunday from 09:00 – 10:00.

Being punctual is a must – there is no wiggle room or flexibility and showing up is crucial. This is not a hobby but rather a serious job.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Walker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional care and exercise for dogs of all breeds and sizes. This role involves walking dogs in various weather conditions, ensuring their safety, and maintaining a positive relationship with both the dogs and their owners.

Responsibilities

• Walk dogs in a safe and controlled manner, ensuring they receive adequate exercise.
• Monitor the behaviour and health of each dog during walks, reporting any concerns to the owner.
• Provide basic animal care, including feeding, administering medication if required, and ensuring hydration during walks.
• Maintain clear communication with pet owners regarding their dog\’s behaviour, needs, and any incidents that may occur.
• Ensure all necessary equipment is used correctly, including leashes, harnesses, and waste disposal bags.
• Manage heavy lifting when required, such as assisting larger breeds or carrying supplies.
• Uphold high standards of customer service by being punctual, friendly, and professional at all times.

Experience

• Previous veterinary experience is highly desirable but not essential.
• A background in animal care or experience working with various dog breeds is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and address their needs.
