A small Term Time Montessori nursery in Shepherds Bush is looking for an experienced and qualified SEN practitioner. You will work alongside another member of staff with a small group of around 6-8 SEN children between the ages of 2 and 4. The Manager is looking for someone who is experienced in children, warm, caring, kind and passionate about childcare with SEN experience. This is a part time TERM TIME position and you will be required to work the following:
- 8am-1pm x3 mornings per week

- Minimum Level 3 Qualified in Childcare
- Minimum 2 years experience working in Early Years
- Experience of working in a SEN role
- Up to date DBS (If not, must be willing to complete one)
- Understanding of Ofsted requirements, safeguarding, Montessori & EYFS
- Excellent communication skills both written & spoken
You will be required to carry out the following duties:
- Follow Nurseries policies and procedures
- Sharing innovative new ideas
- Ensuring the children's needs are met as well as keeping them safe at all times
- Carry out observations and planning on key children
- Communicate with children, staff and parents on a daily basis
- Carry out teaching following the Montessori framework
- Working alongside therapist and other external professionals
Salary £16 per hour (can be negotiable depending on experience). Start 1st September 2025.
