Marylebone Services are looking for a full time, permanent, room‑based Deputy Manager to join a unique childcare setting where children are encouraged to develop at their own pace through play, discovery and meaningful relationships.

Location: Stonebridge/Harlesden, London

Job Type: Full‑Time, Permanent

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week

Salary: £36,000 – £42,000 DOE

Start date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

  • You will role model and promote the setting’s philosophy and ethos
  • You will bring your energy and creativity to the role
  • You will be the children’s guide and encourage child‑led, play‑based learning
  • You will support the Manager in daily operations, staff supervision, and compliance with EYFS framework
  • You will lead a team of professional workers and ensure good practice at all times

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of Early Years Level 3 qualification is essential
  • Previous key working experience (Deputy Manager, Third in Charge, or Room Leader) in a nursery, preschool, or early years setting in the UK
  • Management Qualification
  • Essential training: Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, Food Hygiene
  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS statutory framework
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Computer Literate
