Marylebone Academy is seeking an ambitious, dynamic and inspirational leader to join our team as Head of Faculty for Business and Economics. This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding teacher and middle leader to shape the strategic direction of a growing faculty and make a significant impact on student outcomes. We are looking for a passionate educator who can inspire both students and staff, drive high standards of teaching and learning, and promote a culture of excellence, ambition and achievement.
As Head of Faculty, you will provide strategic leadership across Business and Economics, ensuring an engaging, ambitious and inclusive curriculum that enables all students to fulfil their potential. You will work closely with senior leaders and colleagues across the academy to secure excellent outcomes, raise aspirations and create exceptional learning experiences.
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree.
- Has a strong track record of excellent classroom practice.
- Can teach Business Studies and/or Economics, including GCSE and preferably A Level.
- Has experience of leading, coaching or developing colleagues.
- Is passionate about curriculum development and raising attainment.
- Uses data effectively to drive improvement and monitor student progress.
- Demonstrates excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.
- Shares our commitment to inclusion, safeguarding and student wellbeing.
