The ideal candidate will have
- Qualified Teacher Status and a degree in Science or a related subject.
- Successful experience of teaching Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- A proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching and learning that secures excellent outcomes for students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, parents and external partners.
- The ability to motivate, lead and develop a team, fostering collaboration and a shared commitment to excellence.
- Experience of curriculum planning, assessment and monitoring student progress to drive continued improvement.
- A commitment to professional development and the willingness to embrace innovation and new challenges.
- Confidence in the use of technology to support teaching, learning and departmental development.
