Mary Ward House Conference Centre is looking for two enthusiastic Events and Client Services Co-ordinators to join our busy and professional venue team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality and events environment and takes pride in creating seamless experiences for clients and visitors.
As one of the first points of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in ensuring every event runs smoothly from welcoming clients on arrival to coordinating room setups, supporting event delivery, and maintaining excellent service standards throughout the venue.
The RoleYou will be responsible for delivering outstanding front-of-house service while supporting the operational success of meetings, conferences, and events across the venue. Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming clients, guests, and visitors in a warm, professional, and friendly manner
- Acting as the main reception contact during events and assisting with guest enquiries
- Preparing meeting rooms and event spaces to ensure they are fully set up and presentation-ready
- Checking room layouts, AV equipment, stationery, signage, and refreshments
- Liaising with clients and organisers to confirm final event details and special requests
- Meeting event organisers on arrival and providing venue briefings and operational support
- Coordinating closely with catering and operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery
- Managing deliveries, client materials, and venue signage
- Maintaining reception, communal areas, and guest spaces to a high standard
- Supporting with lost property management and general venue administration
- Providing hands-on support during live events, responding quickly to changes and client needs
- Assisting other departments during busy operational periods where required
We are looking for someone who is:

This role involves flexible shift patterns based on business and event requirements. Some evening and weekend work may be required depending on scheduled events.
