Mary Seacole Housing Association is seeking a proactive and organised Void & Utilisation Manager to oversee occupancy, void turnaround and accommodation utilisation across our supported housing services.
The successful candidate will work closely with Admissions, Facilities and Service Delivery teams to reduce void loss, improve occupancy performance and ensure properties are ready for occupation as quickly and safely as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage voids and occupancy across supported accommodation services
- Monitor occupancy performance, void turnaround and KPIs
- Coordinate referrals, placements and move-on activity
- Work with teams to improve property readiness and reduce delays
- Produce reports and performance data for senior management
- Support operational improvements and service efficiency
Essential Requirements
- Experience in supported housing, homelessness, housing management or a related sector
- Experience managing voids, occupancy, lettings or housing utilisation
- Strong organisational, communication and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to manage performance across multiple teams
- Good IT and reporting skills
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Desirable
- Management or housing qualification
- Enhanced DBS check required
