We’re seeking bar taproom/music venue supervisors to join our venue in Signature Brew to oversee the bar, taproom, and music venue operations at our Blackhorse Road location.

The role will require a confident individual who lives and breathes craft beer and great music.

It requires a hands-on approach to managing live events, ensuring smooth bar service, and maintaining a high-quality customer experience.

Signature Brew Blackhorse Road hosts some of London's best underground bands, comedy, and live DJ nights as well as serving a line-up of fresh Signature Brew beer straight from the brewery, as well as cocktails, wine and soft drinks.

1 year of bar experience as supervisor or manager required.

Hours will vary to suit the individual and the needs of the business, however more permanent / regulated shift hours are also an option.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily bar and taproom operations, ensuring excellent service and adherence to health & safety standards.
  • Set up and operate DJ equipment, as well as basic light and sound systems, to support live performances and events.
  • Coordinate with artists, DJs, and event organizers to ensure smooth show execution.
  • Lead the team during service, handling customer queries and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Ensure the bar team are serving all customers promptly and efficiently, providing excellent customer service experience.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues that arise
  • Assist GM/DM/AGM in training and development of staff
  • Overseeing the bar to ensure the area is adequately stocked, presentable and clean, ready for opening hours
  • Maintain an expert level of knowledge and awareness of Signature Brew beers and all other menu items.
  • Assist with stock management, cash handling, and closing procedures.
  • Work closely with management to improve venue operations and event experiences.
  • Cellar management to include responsibility of beer lines, stock rotation, cleanliness of work area and quality of beer.
  • Maintain e POS system whilst on shift and manage where necessary. I. e delisting products when sold out
  • Management of Food Alert checklists to ensure health and safety of customers and staff.
  • Ensure that Help and support the management team to ensure gross profit targets are achieved
