We are looking for an experienced barista, with a passion and knowledge of speciality coffee - with a personality to make an impression. An exciting opportunity for a diligent, hardworking, reliable, enthusiastic hospitality professional to become store supervisor of a popular artisan doughnut and speciality coffee business.

We have ambitious growth plans and are looking for a team who wants to come on this journey with us and be part of our exciting future. You will be expected to take ownership of your location and uphold Deep North standard while reporting to senior management.

Requirements:

Knowledge and a genuine interest in the speciality coffee industry

Experience as a barista in a speciality coffee environment

To be responsible for improving and maintaining our food hygiene rating and processes

Ability to handle staff issues in a professional and timely manner

Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and communicate any needs to management.

Good, consistent latte art and ability to train new staff to our expected drink standards

Maintain very high standards across all areas of the business, including product, service, cleanliness, presentation, health and safety etc.

Act as a brand ambassador - ensuring our values and ways of doing things are maintained, developed and championed, including in managing and training staff

You will be the customer facing representation of our brand - we want people who are enthusiastic, interesting, friendly, hardworking and provide outstanding customer service

Reliable and trustworthy - a lot of trust is given to our team from the start and we want you to be able to have the scope to be innovative and deliver the best customer experience

Experience in making excellent looking and tasting, high quality drinks

Work quickly and under pressure

Ability to work equally well within a team and independent

Available to work weekends and some public holidays

Regular daytime working hours, with potential for occasional evening work (dependant on events and growth of business)
