We are seeking a experienced and motivated cook to work in our kitchen. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high culinary standards, ensuring efficient service, and supporting the wider kitchen team in delivering exceptional food quality.
Duties:
- Work closely with the General Manager to ensure the smooth running of daily kitchen operations, maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Maintain strict hygiene and safety standards, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist with stock control and ordering
- Take ownership of a designated section of the kitchen
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes in line with company standards
- Ensure consistency, quality, and portion control at all times
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory control
- Work closely with the management team to develop menus and specials
- Ensure timely service during busy periods and maintain calm under pressure
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- A passion for cooking and a strong understanding of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and work as a team.
- Creativity and a keen eye for detail in food presentation.
- A commitment to quality, sustainability, and exceptional customer service.
Additional Information
- This will be a full-time role working 5 out of 7 days. Including 1 weekend day.
