Salary: £35,880 per year, depending on experience
Hours: 40 hours per week, including alternate weekends

At Meadowcroft, part of SDR, we are looking for a compassionate, organised and proactive Deputy Manager to join our management team and play a key role in the day-to-day leadership of our care home.

Working closely with the Home Manager, you will help lead and support our dedicated care team, maintain high standards of care and ensure our residents receive exceptional, person-centred support. What you'll be doing

Supporting the Home Manager with the day-to-day running of the care home and providing leadership to the team.

Leading, supporting and developing staff through supervision, mentoring, training and performance management.

Ensuring high standards of safe, person-centred care, including care planning, medication, safeguarding and CQC compliance.

Building positive relationships with residents, families and professionals while maintaining accurate records and effective communication.

Supporting the wider management of the home, including audits, administration, budgets, continuous improvement and management cover when required.

What you'll need

Previous experience as a Deputy Manager, Deputy Home Manager, Senior Care professional or similar leadership role within residential care.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the confidence to support, develop and motivate a care team.

Good knowledge of CQC, safeguarding, care planning and regulatory requirements, with experience in elderly care.

A genuine passion for delivering high-quality, compassionate and person-centred care, with a calm, organised and proactive approach.
