These temporary Kitchen Porter roles are offered with flexible part time contracts, offering from 6-10 hours per week up to 18-20+ hours per week. Contracts will start from approx. 23rd-28th November and will run until 19th-22nd December 2026 ideally (rest assured, no work on Christmas Day!).
Experience in similar, fast-paced kitchen positions is ideal but a passion for getting stuck in and a can-do, team-player attitude is essential!

Details of the role:
Based at either The Square, Racks Bar & Kitchen, No.4 Clifton Village or Pizza on the Park - all located in Clifton, Bristol (BS8)
Temporary seasonal role - starting from approx. 23rd-28th November. Our new 'class of '26' temps will enjoy a fun team training day as your first shift, aimed at getting you up to speed and bonded with your team ready for the festive fun to begin!
Contracts will run to 19th-22nd December or a few days before, depending on your availability (no work on Christmas!)
Flexible part time contracts, offering from 6-10 hours per week up to 18-20+ hours per week (and several options in between) - we're happy to work with you to find something that fits!
From £11.00 to £12.71 per hour
Serving customers in a festive, busy environment for our Christmas dining events
Weekly rotas to include daytime, evening and weekend work

What will you be doing as Seasonal Kitchen Porter?
Maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen
Washing up, cleaning all plates, pans and other items (both by hand, and using a catering dishwasher)
Putting away orders using good stock rotation practices
Removing recycling and general waste to outdoor bins
On occasion, you may be involved in very basic food preparation (peeling, chopping etc)

Who are we looking for in our Seasonal Kitchen Porters?
Hard-working, organised individuals who are full of energy, have personality and are comfortable doing repetitive tasks such as washing up
Ideally, some experience in a kitchen setting
Good English and the ability to communicate well within a team
Adaptability, proactivity and the ability to think on your feet

Applicants who are successfully shortlisted will be invited to a face-to-face Zoom interview with a member of the HR team, or may be invited to one of our in-person drop-in interview days.
