The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for leading and developing Tiny Rebel's internal sales function, delivering exceptional customer service, efficient sales operations, and proactive revenue growth across Wholesale, Direct Dray, SIBA and Export channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach and develop the Sales Executive team.
- Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews and development planning.
- Set clear objectives and KPIs, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and commercial excellence.
- Oversee order processing, CRM management and sales administration.
- Ensure accurate customer data, efficient processes and outstanding customer service.
- Manage new customer onboarding to maximise retention and long‑term value.
- Commercial Performance
- Drive outbound sales activity and support delivery of volume, revenue and profit targets.
- Increase customer basket spend through proactive selling of packaged beer, cask, keg and seasonal products.
- Lead pre‑selling campaigns, monthly focus products and new product launches.
- Deliver win‑back programmes and support the strategic growth of cask sales outside National customers.
- Customer & Business Development
- Build strong relationships with wholesale customers to increase frequency, distribution and retention.
- Identify opportunities within existing and lapsed accounts and generate qualified leads for the field sales team.
- Conduct customer feedback initiatives to improve service and drive continuous improvement.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Act as the primary link between Sales, Commercial Operations and Supply Chain, providing demand insight and communicating promotional activity and volume forecasts.
- Coordinate field sales support, POS requests, customer activations and installation requirements.
- Manage export relationships through third‑party partners and support national tenders, range reviews and commercial proposals.
- Reporting & Analysis
- Produce weekly sales performance reports, highlighting trends, risks and growth opportunities.
- Monitor KPIs, customer performance, retention and telesales effectiveness.
- Maintain CRM data integrity and provide actionable commercial insights to support decision making.
About You
You will bring:
- Proven experience in Sales Operations, Internal Sales, Telesales or Customer Development.
- Experience leading and developing high‑performing teams.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify growth opportunities.
- Excellent organisation, communication and relationship‑building skills.
- A data‑driven mindset with experience using CRM systems and sales reporting.
- The ability to work collaboratively across Sales, Supply Chain, Finance and Marketing.
- Experience within the beer, drinks, FMCG or hospitality sector is highly desirable.
