Operations Manager (Elderly Care) / Regional Director
Location: Brighton head office, with travel across our Sussex and Hampshire care homes
Hours: 40 hours per week
You’ll oversee five elderly care homes, their Registered Managers and teams – four residential homes and one nursing home – supporting them as they strive for excellent outcomes for our residents.
You’ll lead through our values, building teams who feel supported and proud of the care they give. We believe happy staff mean happy residents and families.

What you’ll be doing
- Driving improvement in resident experience and outcomes
- Building a strong staff culture with high staff satisfaction
- Supporting and line managing Registered Managers through supervision, coaching and honest challenge
- Owning budgets, occupancy, agency use and staffing costs across your homes
- Making sure audit and improvement actions are completed – and stay done
- Building strong relationships with CQC and commissioners, so every home is inspection-ready
- Leading or taking on newly acquired homes and bringing them up to our standards
- Sharing a senior on-call rota with the Director and Regional Support Manager
What you’ll need
- At least 3 years managing multiple elderly care homes and their Registered Managers
- A track record of turning around underperforming homes, and taking homes to CQC Good or Outstanding
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, or equivalent or higher
- A full UK driving licence and your own car
