Night Manager required for innovative Private Members Club and Hospitality Concept. Originally built in 1666 and redesigned in 1898, The Royal Bell is a Grade 2 listed building reimagined as a five‑storey, design-led leisure destination offering elevated service and culinary excellence across multiple venues including:
- Bar and grill
- Pizza joint
- Café run in partnership with chef Aldo Zilli
- Royal Hall grand ballroom
- Expansive garden and members terrace
- Event spaces
- 14 hotel rooms

The Night Manager is the senior operational lead on site overnight at The Royal Bell, responsible for safety, guest service, and the smooth running of all night‑time operations. You’ll oversee late check‑ins and early check‑outs, security patrols, incident response, and team management, ensuring our standards and warmth shine through even in the quietest hours. This is a hands‑on leadership role that requires you to be calm, attentive, and highly reliable.
Key responsibilities:
- Complete night audit tasks and reconcile end-of-day financials, ensuring accuracy across systems
- Prepare nightly reports on occupancy, arrivals/departures, maintenance issues, and guest feedback
- Monitor room availability and plan early check‑ins, upgrades, and amenity allocations for the following day
- Ensure full legal and licensing compliance across all operational areas, including fire, food hygiene, health and safety, COSHH, employment law
- Maintain a strong culture of safety and responsibility
- Identify trends, risks, or anomalies and communicate these to the General Manager
