We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) to join our experienced team. About the Role
- Provide high-quality, person-centred care and clinical leadership to support individuals with complex mental health needs and learning disabilities.
- Build therapeutic relationships, promote recovery-focused outcomes, and work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals.
- Deliver compassionate, safe and person-centred nursing care.
- Assess, plan, implement and review individualised care and support plans.
- Develop therapeutic relationships that promote wellbeing and positive outcomes.
- Support individuals with complex mental health needs and behaviours that communicate distress.
- Administer and monitor medication safely in accordance with professional standards.
- Use trauma-informed approaches and positive behavioural support in daily practice.
- Manage risk effectively while promoting dignity, independence and choice.
- Provide clinical leadership, guidance and support to colleagues.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families and external professionals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, infection control, health and safety, and company policies.
About You
- A valid NMC registration as an RMN or RNLD.
- A compassionate and person-centred approach to care.
- Experience supporting adults with mental health needs, learning disabilities or complex presentations.
- An understanding of trauma-informed practice and positive behavioural support.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
