About the role. We are looking for an experienced senior sous chef to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy, creative environment and is ready to take on a more senior role within a supportive and well-established team. You'll be cooking in a kitchen that cares about the food it sends out and be working with amazing, fresh produce from some of the best suppliers in the country alongside a well-established and tight knit team. You'll work closely with the Head Chef and play a key role in leading the team day to day, helping to maintain the quality, consistency, and atmosphere of the kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Working with the head chef to manage the wider team.
- Supporting and guiding the team during service and leading when required.
- Leading by experience and fostering a positive, supporting team culture.
- Dealing with suppliers, building and maintaining strong relationships with key contacts.
- Making sure that every dish reflects the quality and standard of our restaurant.
- Keeping a sense of calm and control during busy services.
- Overseeing daily kitchen tasks, organisation and management.
- Working with wider restaurant management team to uphold the quality and experience of our restaurant.
