Situated on the stunning East Lothian coastline, we are just 18 miles from Edinburgh and a short distance from North Berwick, Haddington and other East Lothian towns.

We are currently inviting applications for an enthusiastic, self‑motivated and driven individual to join our Housekeeping Team as a Laundry Assistant.

What you’ll be doing in this role:

  • Ensure items are appropriately separated and laundered according to washing and drying instructions.
  • Launder all linen, including bedding, table cloths, towels and soft furnishings as required.
  • Maintain the laundry area in a tidy and safe condition and notify the Housekeeping Manager of any safety hazards or defective equipment.
  • Perform general cleaning duties as required.
  • Have a Customer First philosophy, prioritising the needs of customers and ensuring services meet expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety standards.
  • Report any necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Consider what’s next, being able to anticipate and adapt to member and guest needs.

  • Preferred experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent time‑keeping skills and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Flexible and available for weekend work as necessary.
  • Good team skills, collaborating with purpose towards a shared purpose.
  • Must be able to follow supervisory instructions and communicate well.
