We are recruiting for an experienced Greenkeeper to join our team at Scotscraig Golf Club. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual to play a key role in the presentation, maintenance, and ongoing development of our historic courses, ensuring they are maintained to the highest possible standards throughout the year.
Key duties include but are not limited to:
- Maintain and set up the course so it is always in the best possible condition.
- Carry out turf maintenance, construction, aeration and renovation works.
- Operate and care for a range of turf machinery safely and effectively.
- Green and hole maintenance, including inspection, repair and trimming.
- Support environmental stewardship, including pest and disease control and habitat management.
- Work collaboratively with a skilled team, always putting health, safety and the golfer’s experience first.
We welcome applications across all experience levels. Depending on experience, you may bring:
- Qualifications such as a Sports Turf certificate (Level 2–4 or equivalent), Chainsaw and PA1/PA2a/PA6 spraying certifications.
- Proven experience with turf maintenance machinery, fertilisers, top-dressing and chemical operations.
- Skills ranging from daily course set-up to project management, renovation planning and tournament preparation.
- A positive attitude, reliability, attention to detail and the ability to thrive outdoors in all conditions.
- A full driving licence is essential.
