Situated on the stunning East Lothian coastline, we are just 18 miles from Edinburgh and a short distance from North Berwick, Haddington and other East Lothian towns. We are currently inviting applications for an enthusiastic, self‑motivated and driven individual to join our Housekeeping Team as a Laundry Assistant.
What you’ll be doing in this role:
- Ensure items are appropriately separated and laundered according to washing and drying instructions.
- Launder all linen, including bedding, table cloths, towels and soft furnishings as required.
- Maintain the laundry area in a tidy and safe condition and notify the Housekeeping Manager of any safety hazards or defective equipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties as required.
- Have a Customer First philosophy, prioritising the needs of customers and ensuring services meet expectations.
- Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety standards.
- Report any necessary repairs or replacements.
- Consider what’s next, being able to anticipate and adapt to member and guest needs.

- Preferred experience in a similar role.
- Excellent time‑keeping skills and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Flexible and available for weekend work as necessary.
- Good team skills, collaborating with purpose towards a shared purpose.
- Must be able to follow supervisory instructions and communicate well.
