The Head of Sales leads Tiny Rebel's commercial growth plan through development and execution of a commercial sales strategy to deliver annual and long range financial and brand objectives Working closely with Marketing, Operations, Finance and the Executive Team, the Head of Sales will drive commercial planning, develop a high-performing team and ensure customer strategies align with the wider objectives of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Planning
- Translate company growth objectives into clear sales strategies, budgets and measurable targets.
- Identify market trends, customer needs and competitor activity to continually refine our go-to-market approach.
- Lead annual and quarterly sales planning processes in collaboration with the Executive Leadership Team.
- Ensure customer plans align with wider business objectives, production capacity and demand planning.
- Review commercial performance regularly, identifying opportunities to improve sales, margin and customer returns.
- Recruit , develop and inspire a high performing , customer focussed winning sales team across at all levels through effective leadership and succession planning.
- Establish clear KPIs, sales targets and incentive programmes aligned with company objectives.
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Support the development of future commercial leaders across the business.
- Revenue Growth & Commercial Performance
- Ownership of the end-to-end P & L and capital allocation
- Work with the Marketing team to deliver effective customer marketing investment plans.
- Drive profitable revenue growth through effective customer pricing and investment strategies cross all sales channels.
- Delivery of brand distribution growth goals through effective customer relationship building to win and retain customers.
- Review commercial performance regularly, identifying opportunities to improve sales, margin and customer returns.
- Marketing & Commercial Planning
- Work closely with Marketing to develop and deliver the annual commercial calendar.
- Ensure New Product Development (NPD) launches are commercially successful across all sales channels.
- Align marketing investment with commercial priorities and customer opportunities.
- Oversee trade marketing, customer activations and point-of-sale activity to maximise return on investment.
- Provide customer and market insight to influence future product development and brand strategy.
- Commercial Planning & S&OP
- Work closely with Demand Planning, Operations and Supply Chain to ensure customer demand aligns with production capacity.
- Play an active leadership role within the weekly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
- Balance customer service, stock availability and profitability when making commercial decisions.
- Ensure accurate sales forecasting across all channels to support
- Operational Excellence
- Continually improve sales processes and systems, ensuring effective CRM utilisation.
- Develop robust reporting dashboards to provide visibility of team performance and commercial results.
- Implement sales enablement tools and automation where appropriate to improve efficiency.
- Ensure sales data is accurate, timely and supports effective business decision-making.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as executive sponsor for strategic customers and key commercial partnerships.
- Lead major customer negotiations and contract renewals.
- Represent Tiny Rebel at customer meetings, trade events and industry forums.
- Develop long-term relationships that strengthen the company's commercial position.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing to ensure campaign alignment and maximise commercial impact.
- Partner with Operations, Brewing and Supply Chain to balance demand with production capability.
- Collaborate with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, pricing and profitability analysis.
- Work with Product Development to ensure customer feedback informs innovation and future product launches.
- Contribute to Executive Leadership Team discussions, supporting wider business strategy and decision-making.
- Qualification and Skills
- Demonstrated success in a senior sales or commercial leadership role across both off and on trade channels.
- Proven ability to develop high-performing sales teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication and negotiation skills.
- Commercially astute with strong analytical and financial understanding.
