Mary Rush Care is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Waking Night Support Worker to join our team at Thatcham Avenue, providing high-quality overnight support to individuals living within our Supported Living service. About the Role
As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort and wellbeing of the people we support throughout the night. Working as part of an experienced team, you will provide reassurance, practical support and monitoring, helping to maintain a safe and positive environment whilst promoting independence wherever possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular welfare and safety checks
- Provide emotional support and reassurance when required
- Assist with medication administration in line with care plans
- Complete accurate records and handovers
- Respond appropriately to any incidents or emergencies
- Support individuals with personal care needs where required
- Maintain a calm, safe and supportive environment throughout the night

Location
This role is based at Thatcham Avenue and applicants should live within a reasonable commuting distance of the service. Please note: We are seeking local applicants who can reliably travel to the service for overnight shifts. Relocation assistance is not available.
