We are looking for Food and Beverage Assistants to join our growing team at Forfar Golf Club. This is a fast-paced, guest-facing role, delivering a consistently high standard of service to members, members’ guests and visitors to the Golf Club.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role delivering a high-quality, modern food offering across clubhouse dining for members and visitors alike, as well as supporting the continued growth of our new restaurant, Rig & Furrow.

The Role

We are seeking friendly, reliable Food and Beverage Assistants to help deliver a high-quality food and beverage experience to our members and visitors. This is a customer-facing role suited to someone who enjoys working in a lively hospitality environment and takes pride in providing great service.

As a Food and Beverage Assistant, you’ll support the day-to-day running of the club’s bar and catering facilities, ensuring members and guests receive a warm welcome and efficient service at all times. You’ll work as part of a close-knit team and play a key role in creating a positive experience for everyone who visits the club. This is a hands-on role offering variety, responsibility, and the chance to be part of a team that delivers a first-class experience to everyone at Forfar.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serving food and beverages in a polite, friendly and professional manner
  • Taking accurate food and drink orders and processing payments through the till system
  • Maintaining knowledge of menus, bar offerings and daily specials
  • Clearing, cleaning and resetting tables to a high standard
  • Assisting with functions and events, including set-up and clear-down
  • Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of bar and dining areas
  • Following all Health & Safety and food hygiene procedures
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the club

About You

  • Previous experience in a bar, restaurant or hospitality environment is desirable
  • Friendly, approachable and confident dealing with customers
  • Reliable, flexible and able to work as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail and ability to work in a busy environment
  • Willingness to learn and follow club standards and procedures

Hours: Part-time positions available, rota-based shifts including evenings and weekends.
