Forfar Golf Club are seeking a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join the team.
This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role delivering a high‑quality, modern food offering across clubhouse dining for members and visitors alike, as well as supporting the continued growth of our new restaurant, Rig & Furrow.
The successful candidate will take ownership of their section, maintain excellent standards, and contribute to a food experience that reflects both the club’s heritage and evolving hospitality ambitions.
Working across both the clubhouse and The Rig & Furrow, you’ll play an important role in shaping a fresh, contemporary dining experience for members, guests, and the wider local community.
Key Responsibilities
- Ability to run a kitchen section confidently during service
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes to consistently high standards
- Support seasonal menu development and event preparation
- Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures
- Maintain excellent cleanliness, organisation, and portion control
- Assist with ordering, stock rotation, and minimising waste
- Work collaboratively with the wider F&B team to deliver reliable, professional service
About You
We’re looking for someone who
- Has their NVQ / SVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery (or equivalent experience)
- Experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis ready to step up
- Ability to run a section independently
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Positive, team-focused attitude
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event days (annualised hours contract)
- Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate
