We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join The Scottish Design Exchange. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring an outstanding experience for our artists and customers. Your ability to communicate effectively, maintain a positive attitude, and confidently engage with customers will be crucial to your success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Interaction: Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional manner.
  • Artist Support: Provide personalized support to artists, helping them showcase their work and manage their displays.
  • Sales Transactions: Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the shop’s inventory and artists’ collections.
  • Problem Resolution: Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive Attitude: Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanour.
  • Customer Service Confidence: Confident in delivering superior customer service experiences.
  • Preferred Experience: Previous experience in a customer service role.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.45 per hour

Expected hours: 14 per week
