Location: Brighton, East Sussex (Head Office based with travel across East & West Sussex)

Hours: Full Time | 40 Hours per Week | Monday-Friday

Are you a Registered Nurse (RNLD or RGN with Learning Disability experience) looking for a leadership role where your clinical expertise will genuinely influence the quality of care individuals receive?

At SDR, we're looking for an experienced Clinical Lead to provide clinical leadership across our specialist Supported Living and Residential Services for adults with Autism, Learning Disabilities and Complex Health Needs.

This is more than a clinical role. It's an opportunity to work alongside experienced Registered Managers and multidisciplinary professionals, helping shape best practice, supporting colleagues and improving outcomes for the individuals we support.

Based at our Brighton Head Office with regular travel across East and West Sussex, you'll enjoy a varied role combining clinical leadership, quality improvement and direct support to services, while building meaningful relationships with the individuals we support and the teams around them.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead health assessments and develop person-centred Health Action Plans
• Monitor and respond to changes in physical and mental health
• Support the senior team in managing health needs across our Adult Social Care services
• Complete clinical reports and maintain accurate documentation
• Attend individual reviews where required
• Provide specialist clinical support for complex health needs, including epilepsy management
• Work collaboratively with GPs, Community Learning Disability Teams, Specialist Nurses and other healthcare professionals
• Provide clinical leadership, guidance and mentoring to Registered Managers and care teams
• Promote safeguarding, quality assurance and clinical best practice
• Ensure the people we support receive exceptional person-centred care that promotes independence, wellbeing and positive outcomes

About You

You'll be:

A Registered Nurse (RNLD or RGN)

Registered with the NMC with no restrictions

Experienced, with at least one year's post-registration practice

Confident supporting adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Complex Health Needs, including epilepsy

Passionate about delivering high-quality, evidence-based clinical care

An excellent communicator with strong clinical judgement and leadership skills

Able to build positive working relationships across multidisciplinary teams
