The Role
This is a hands-on management position where livestock rearing and stockmanship are at the heart of the role. You will oversee the daily management of our dairy sheep and dairy goat enterprises, ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare, milk quality, hygiene, and operational efficiency. This is also a leadership role. We are looking for someone capable of helping build and develop a strong team structure that allows the business owners to step back from day-to-day operations and focus on wider business development and growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day management of dairy sheep and dairy goats
- Livestock rearing and youngstock management
- Milking operations and parlour management
- Maintaining exceptional hygiene and milk quality standards
- Feeding, grazing, and nutritional management
- Monitoring animal health, fertility, and performance
