Location: Ashfield Nursing Home, Kirkby in Ashfield

Hours: 38.5 hours per week plus handover (night shifts)

Contract: Permanent

About the Role

As a Night Care Assistant, you’ll play an important role in ensuring our residents are comfortable, safe and well supported throughout the night. Working alongside our nursing and care teams, you’ll provide practical assistance, emotional reassurance, and promote residents’ dignity and independence at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality personal care and support during night shifts.
  • Assist residents with bedtime and early morning routines.
  • Carry out regular checks to ensure residents’ safety and wellbeing.
  • Respond promptly and compassionately to residents’ needs.
  • Offer reassurance and companionship to residents during the night.
  • Accurately maintain care records and report any changes in residents’ condition.
  • Work collaboratively with nurses and colleagues to deliver excellent standards of care.
