The predicted salary is between 10 - 12 £ per hour.

As a Front of House Assistant, your primary role is to ensure every customer enjoys a warm welcome and excellent service. You’ll support the smooth day-to-day running of the front of house areas. Your key priorities and duties will be:

  • Greeting and welcoming guests in a warm and professional manner
  • Taking customer orders accurately and efficiently and offering information about menu items when required
  • Serve food and drinks with a friendly and helpful attitude
  • Check in with customers during their meal to make sure they’re happy and have everything they need
  • Preparing and serving drinks, including a variety of hot and cold beverages
  • Processing payments using the till system, handling both cash and card transactions
  • Clearing tables promptly and ensuring the restaurant remains clean and tidy
  • Washing cutlery, crockery, and pots, and maintaining cleanliness in food service areas
  • Maintaining a clean and welcoming front of house environment throughout the day
  • Housekeeping- making sure workstations and back of house areas are cleaned throughout the day
  • Dealing with customer complaints in a professional manner, directing to a manager if needed

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a food/serving environment is desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • A passion for quality food and a commitment to maintaining high standards
