As we continue to grow our wholesale business, we’re looking for a hands‑on Junior Wholesale Account Manager to support the day‑to‑day running of our wholesale function. You’ll work closely alongside and report into our Wholesale Relationships Manager, playing a key role in keeping customers supported, deliveries running smoothly, and new opportunities moving forward. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their wholesale or coffee career who wants to learn the ropes in a fast‑moving, purpose‑led business.
The Role: As Junior Wholesale Account Manager, you’ll support three core areas of the wholesale operation: delivery, account management, and new business development. You’ll be close to the action every day, helping ensure our wholesale operation runs smoothly while building your understanding of how commercial relationships are developed and maintained in specialty coffee. This is a practical and varied role for someone who enjoys being out on the road, working with customers, and getting involved in both operational and commercial work.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Delivery Driver (Essential part of the role)
- Carry out scheduled wholesale deliveries
- Make sure orders are delivered accurately, on time, and in excellent condition
- Act as a friendly and reliable face of Kickback Coffee on the road
- Support with loading, organising deliveries, and basic logistics preparation
- Carry out routine vehicle checks and keep the van clean and presentable
- Feed back any customer comments or issues to the Wholesale Relationships Manager
- Wholesale Account Management:
- Support the Wholesale Relationships Manager with day‑to‑day account activity
- Help manage orders, customer queries, and general account administration
- Build relationships with existing wholesale partners through regular contact and visits
- Help maintain a high standard of service across all accounts
- Support stock coordination and communication with internal teams
- Ensure customers feel looked after, supported, and valued
- New Business Development:
- Support outreach to potential wholesale customers
- Follow up on leads and assist with early‑stage conversations
- Help prepare samples, proposals, and onboarding materials
- Attend meetings and site visits alongside the Wholesale Relationships Manager
- Help identify new opportunities for growth across different regions
- Share insights and feedback from time spent on the road and with customers
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in the coffee industry or a genuine interest in coffee is essential, this role requires a deep understanding of the market, customers, and product
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Due to insurance requirements, applicants must be aged 25+
- A proactive, hands‑on attitude, happy balancing delivery work with customer and office support
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships naturally
- Organised, reliable, and detail focused
- Eagerness to learn about wholesale, sales, and specialty coffee
- Experience in hospitality, customer service, logistics, or sales is helpful but not essential
