Are you a nurturing, enthusiastic educator looking for a rewarding part-time role? Mary Howard CE Primary School is seeking a dedicated Grade 3 Teaching Assistant to join the team in our Maple Class. This is a wonderfully unique opportunity to support our mixed-age class of Reception, Year 1, and Year 2 children within a fun, busy, and happy learning environment.
Working mornings only, you will play an integral role in supporting continuous provision, helping guide interactive play-based learning, and assisting with core foundational skills (including our Little Wandle phonics programme). If you are passionate about early development, enjoy variety, and want to make a meaningful impact in a supportive village school community, we want to hear from you!
The role is 8.15am - 12.15pm, M-F, term time only. The role is linked to an EHCP and is initially until July 27.
What we are looking for:
- Experience or a strong understanding of EYFS and Key Stage 1 development.
- A positive, creative approach to supporting children 1:1, in small groups, and across continuous provision.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-player attitude.
