With multiple operations in Atlantic Canada, we’re on the lookout for a passionate individual to become a part of our organization based in Bedford, Nova Scotia.
Position Available: Operations Support Analyst
By joining our team as the Operations Support Analyst you will be working closely with the Operational Teams in Nova Scotia (Bedford and Brookfield) as well as interacting with the Accounting Department.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare reports comparing standard vs. actual results
- Maintain accurate cost accounting records and documentation
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Reconcile cost-related accounts and prepare detailed analyses
- Monitor cost variances and collaborate with production teams to identify key drivers
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and inventory valuation
- Participate in physical inventory counts and yard audits
- Prepare site-wide consumable inventory for the procurement team
- Recommend cost-saving initiatives and process improvements
- Perform other accounting and operational duties as needed
What you bring to the table:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; open to learning new software as needed
- High attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Bilingual (English/French) is an asset
- Valid driver’s license required
- Accounting/Business Diploma, Certificate, or equivalent education with a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
