My client, a growing financial services business is seeking a high-calibre Junior Management Accountant to join its finance team. This is a broad role combining traditional management accounting responsibilities with support for the investment team, providing excellent exposure to both finance and commercial operations. This opportunity is ideal for an ambitious part-qualified accountant looking to develop their career within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Post journals, accruals and prepayments, and perform balance sheet reconciliations
- Support month-end reporting and variance analysis
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Produce management information and ad hoc financial analysis
- Support the investment team with reporting and analysis of investment activities
- Monitor investment pipeline performance and prepare related reports
- Contribute to process improvements and maintain strong financial control
Candidate Requirements
- Degree from a Russell Group university
- Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACCA
- Strong analytical and Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Proactive and organised approach to work
- Previous finance experience is required, but industry background is open. Candidates from financial services, professional services, industry or practice environments will be considered.
