We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to oversee financial reporting, financial control, and performance analysis across a diversified Pan-European commercial real estate portfolio. Reporting to the Finance Director, this role will play a key part in ensuring the delivery of accurate financial information, robust governance, and strategic support to the investment and asset management teams across multiple European jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting process across property, holding, and corporate entities.
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP requirements.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting for the portfolio and corporate structures.
- Oversee statutory reporting, tax compliance, and audit processes across multiple European jurisdictions.
- Produce lender, investor, and board reporting, including covenant monitoring and performance analysis.
- Support acquisitions, disposals, refinancings, and corporate restructuring activities.
Experience & Qualifications
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Significant experience within commercial real estate, property investment, real estate private equity, or fund management.
- Experience managing financial reporting across multiple European jurisdictions.
- Knowledge of real estate operating structures, SPVs, debt financing, and property-level reporting.
- Proven experience managing external service providers, auditors, and tax advisers.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment with multiple reporting deadlines.
- Experience with Yardi, MRI, SAP, or similar real estate finance systems is advantageous.
