My client, an award-winning pension trustee and governance consultancy is seeking an experienced Trustee Manager to support Trustee Directors in delivering governance, project management and pension scheme management services to defined benefit pension schemes.
Responsibilities
- Lead scheme governance, strategic planning and project delivery.
- Manage trustee board and committee meetings, including agendas, papers and minutes.
- Build strong relationships with trustees, advisers, administrators and sponsoring employers.
- Oversee budgets, secretariat services and regulatory compliance.
- Manage complex projects including liability management and risk transfer exercises.
- Line manage and develop junior team members.
- Support business development activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience & Requirements
- Minimum 10 years' experience with defined benefit occupational pension schemes.
- Strong knowledge of pensions legislation, governance and regulatory requirements.
- Project management and budget management experience.
- Professional Trustee accreditation (or willingness to obtain shortly after joining).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills.
- Experience of scheme secretarial services and pensions governance; PPF exposure and change management experience are advantageous.
