We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to join a residential developer delivering a mid-rise residential town centre regeneration scheme.
The successful candidate will have strong reinforced concrete (RC) frame expertise, including post-tensioned (PT) slabs and slip-form systems, alongside proven site engineering, surveying and construction programme management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring safe, timely and high-quality delivery.
- Oversee RC frame construction, including formwork, reinforcement, concrete pours, PT slabs and slip-form operations.
- Coordinate site engineering, setting out, surveying and dimensional control.
- Develop and manage construction programmes using Microsoft Project, monitoring critical paths and key milestones.
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, site teams and construction sequencing.
- Coordinate site logistics, deliveries, access and temporary works within a constrained town centre environment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, specifications, quality standards and building regulations.
- Liaise with the Project Manager, design team and commercial team to resolve buildability issues and maintain progress.
Essential Experience and Skills
- Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager or Site Manager on multi-storey residential or mixed-use developments.
- Strong RC frame construction expertise, including PT slabs and slip-form systems.
- Excellent site engineering and surveying knowledge, including setting out, levels and tolerances.
- Strong project planning, programme management and sequencing capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
- Good understanding of construction health and safety, quality assurance and temporary works.
- Relevant construction management or civil engineering qualification, or equivalent experience.
- Valid CSCS card and SMSTS qualification.
