Looking for your first role? Obsessed with detail and happiest when a messy spreadsheet finally makes sense? Read on.
We're working with a global snacking brand that's become a genuine phenomenon — the kind of name that sells out, trends online and pulls a cult following wherever it lands. It's now scaling hard in the UK, backed by one of the biggest food businesses on the planet.
This is a brand people already love, on a growth journey most people in this industry only dream about — and this is a brilliant first rung on the ladder.
Why should you care?
Because this is a proper start, not a coffee-runs-and-photocopying start. On a brand growing this fast, the numbers actually matter — and from day one you'll be helping the commercial team see clearly and decide well. You'll learn Revenue Growth Management from people who know it inside out, get real exposure to how a brand is built, and grow your career at the same pace the brand grows. Get this right and where you go next is wide open.
What you'll actually be doing
- Learning to pull apart pricing, promotions and mix to see where the money's made — and where it quietly leaks away
- Getting stuck into promotional performance and helping work out what's paying off and what isn't
- Helping build and look after the models, dashboards and reporting the commercial team relies on
- Keeping the data clean, accurate and trustworthy — because a decision is only as good as the numbers under it
- Spotting the patterns and oddities in the detail that other people skim straight past
- Supporting the account managers with the insight they need before a big customer meeting
Who you are
This is the bit that really matters. You are seriously analytical and seriously detailed. You like numbers, you're quick with Excel and you don't rest until the figures actually tie out. You're the person who notices the one cell that's wrong in a thousand, who asks "but why is that number moving?", and who can turn a wall of data into a clear, tidy answer.
You've probably got a numerate or analytical degree mindset but honestly we care more about how your brain works than what it says on the certificate. Curiosity, precision and a genuine love of getting to the bottom of things count for a lot here.
One thing on experience
You don't need a track record — this is an entry-level role and we expect to teach you plenty. What we can't teach is the analytical instinct and the eye for detail, so that part isn't negotiable. Bring those and the hunger to learn, and it doesn't matter one bit that this is your first proper role. Potential beats a CV.
