Our client is a well-established, premium FMCG business experiencing continued growth across the grocery channel. With an expanding portfolio and ambitious plans for the future, they are now looking for two National Account Managers to strengthen their commercial team and drive sustainable growth across key retail customers.
Salary: £50,000-55,000 + car allowance and bonus
Ways of working: Home-based role with 1 day per week in the office in Kent

The job…
As National Account Manager, you’ll have full responsibility for managing and growing a significant grocery account base, delivering profitable and sustainable growth across branded and own-label portfolios. You’ll build and lead long-term customer relationships, developing joint business plans and identifying new growth opportunities. With full P&L ownership, you’ll manage forecasting, budgeting, negotiations and category performance, using market data and insight to create compelling, fact-based commercial propositions. Working cross-functionally with Marketing, NPD, Finance, Supply Chain and Operations, you’ll support NPD launches, ensure forecast accuracy through the S&OP process, and proactively manage range reviews, distribution, SKU performance and margin delivery. You’ll also play an active role in identifying and securing new business opportunities within the grocery channel.

- Proven experience operating at National Account Manager level within FMCG grocery (branded and/or own label).
- Experience managing Top 6 grocery accounts, with discounter exposure advantageous.
- Strong commercial and analytical capability, with proven P&L ownership and growth delivery.
- A track record of building strategic customer relationships and delivering joint business plans.
- Confident negotiator with experience managing contracts, budgets and marketing investment.
