With a strong presence across the major multiples and a track record of category leadership, the business continues to grow through innovation, strategic retailer partnerships and a genuine commitment to commercial excellence.

As the business continues to invest in its commercial team, they're now looking to appoint a Senior National Account Manager for Sainsbury's & Morrisons. This role is for a commercially sharp operator who can build strategic retailer relationships, lead joint business planning and drive sustainable category growth. This is a role that will appeal to National Account Managers and Senior National Account Managers ready to take their next step or broaden their remit within a business that genuinely invests in its people and its commercial agenda.

The opportunity:

You'll play a pivotal role in developing and growing strategic retailer relationships, identifying commercial opportunities and supporting the delivery of business growth plans across the category. The role demands someone equally comfortable in senior retailer conversations as they are rolling up their sleeves on execution, forecasting and promotional planning. You'll lead joint business plans, shape promotional activity, drive innovation projects and deliver commercial initiatives that create long-term value for the business and its retail partners.

What you'll be doing:
  • Build and grow strategic relationships across major grocery accounts and internal stakeholders
  • Lead the development and delivery of joint business plans and commercial growth strategies
  • Identify and create value through innovation, category initiatives and promotional activity
  • Deliver agreed financial and performance targets within clear commercial controls
  • Provide commercial insight and recommendations to support senior decision-making
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, reporting and performance tracking
What we're looking for:
  • National or Senior National Account Management experience within grocery FMCG
  • Proven track record of managing and growing major retailer relationships
  • Strong JBP and commercial negotiation skills with a clear focus on profitable growth
  • Commercially astute with a solid understanding of P&L, trade investment and category performance
  • Confident influencer, able to engage and align stakeholders internally and externally
  • Proactive, solutions-focused and comfortable operating at pace across multiple priorities
Ways of working:

1-2 days a week in Maidenhead with the option for travel to be expensed dependent on your location.
