We are very excited to be working alongside the wine and spirits arm of one of the UK's leading foodservice wholesalers and distributors. This is an extremely exciting opportunity to join their National Accounts team within the Focus Category & New Business function.

Be part of a National Accounts structure that is split by sector, allowing true specialism and market focus. The Focus Category & New Business team plays a pivotal role in driving growth across wines, beers & spirits in new customer acquisition.
You’ll report into and be supported by an experienced Business Development Controller, giving you the platform to make a real commercial impact whilst developing your strategic account management capability.
This is an opportunity to operate at head office level, influencing senior stakeholders and delivering meaningful joint business plans that create incremental profit for both customer and company.
Take ownership of converting new national business whilst managing and developing a portfolio of existing key accounts within the workplace catering marketplace. Identify, target and convert new national opportunities within existing customers of the parent company building and managing strong head office relationships.
You will develop and deliver Joint Business Plans including marketing and training plans, demonstrating true category partnership expertise across Wines, Beers & Spirits. This is a demanding yet rewarding role that requires strong commercial acumen, confident communication and the ability to influence at all levels.
