Marvel FMCG, a Certified B Corporation and one of the biggest names in drinks, is recruiting a Category Lead for their Grocery business. The role is based in London with hybrid working (2‑3 days in office per week).

The Role
The Category Lead on Grocery leads a team of four Grocery Category Managers and drives collaboration, deeper customer relationships and perfect store execution. The Lead influences buying and category director level accounts, coaches and delivers senior level contact strategy, and develops long‑term category strategy with a focus on Category Vision and market conditions (HFSS, DRS, Soft Drink Industry Levy).
Responsibilities
- Lead and coach a high‑performing category team.
- Drive collaboration and deep customer relationships to achieve perfect store execution.
- Influence at buying manager, category director and strategic accounts.
- Develop and execute long‑term category strategy and market‑driven operational plans.
- Deliver entrepreneurial mindset, stretch boundaries and challenge status quo.
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading a grocery or convenience category team.
- Strong people management skills with at least four direct reports.
- In‑depth knowledge of grocery and convenience customer landscape.
- Track record of driving business outcomes through collaboration and category strategy.
- Excellent communication, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
