Muve Healthcare is seeking experienced Paediatric ITU Nurses to deliver high-quality, specialist clinical care to children and young people with complex health needs within their own homes. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, evidence-based paediatric intensive care-level nursing in the service user’s home
  • Provide one-to-one care for children with complex medical needs, including but not limited to:
    • Tracheostomy care and management
    • Ventilation (invasive and non-invasive)
    • Enteral feeding (PEG, NJ, NG)
    • Oxygen therapy and airway management
    • Complex medication administration
  • Carry out comprehensive clinical assessments and respond promptly to changes in condition
  • Develop, implement, and review individualised care plans in line with clinical guidance and family preferences
  • Work collaboratively with families, MDTs, and external healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and reports
  • Act as an advocate for the child and family, ensuring safeguarding and best practice at all times
  • Adhere to Muve Healthcare policies, CQC standards, and professional codes of conduct

Person Specification

Essential Criteria:

  • Registered Nurse (RN Child / RSCN) with a valid NMC PIN
  • Significant experience working within Paediatric ITU / HDU or equivalent acute paediatric setting
  • Proven competence in managing complex clinical interventions independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously in a community-based setting
  • Full UK right to work

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience delivering care in the community or home setting
  • Tracheostomy and ventilation competencies
  • Safeguarding Level 3
  • Basic or Advanced Paediatric Life Support (BPLS / APLS)
